The gaming community in 2020 consists of an increasingly even number of female and male gamers. An unprecedented equality that has its dark side. With millions of female players showing a persistent interest in First-Person Shooters, they often find themselves in the middle of a classic “sausage party”, facing bullying and shocking sexist comments. Although CS:GO is trying to protect female players with the report, block and ban functions, it is the behaviour of the gaming community itself that has to change.

So we created the ‘Weapons of Peace’ collection with the aim to let everyone express their opinion and show to the other players for what they stand for.

The Weapons of Peace collection consists of 24 unique weapon finishes, representing the low 24% of female players in CS:GO. This collection aims to become a symbol of protest in the game by letting everyone express their opinion and show to the other players for what they stand for.

The full project will be officially launched in March 2021.
